I’m so excited to announce Back to School mini-sessions!!

As of now, I am opening one weekend.

Here are the details:

Mini Sessions include 15 minutes shoot time as well as 5 downloadable images (print ready with release)

DATES:  Saturday September 8th

TIME: 7:20am-9:20am and 4:40pm-7pm

LOCATION: Darien, NY (details will be privately emailed)

How does a mini session differ from a full session?

My regular photo sessions usually last an hour to an hour and a half in length and at the location of your choice. Mini sessions are conducted at a specific location and are fifteen minutes in length.  Only one outfit and one location (location predetermined by photographer) is allowed. Full sessions tend to work best for a child who is shy and may need some time to warm up to their surroundings.

The mini session includes up to 2 children per session booked.

May I book multiple mini sessions together?

You may book more than one session in a row. In fact, it is recommended that you book multiple sessions if you have three or more children.

What is the cost of the mini session?

The cost is $50 and is due upon registering (Invoices will be sent after your date/time is confirmed.) Session fees must be paid in order to reserve your spot!

How do I sign up for a mini session?

Email me at [email protected] Include Parents names, child/children’s name(s) and ages, if you prefer a morning or afternoon spot preference.  Remember that only 2 children are allowed per session.  Inquiries will be responded to on a first come first serve basis.  Please note that Facebook inquiries will not be counted.  Emails only please.

What if it rains or the weather is bad on the day of our mini session?

In case of inclement weather, mini photo sessions will be cancelled and rescheduled at a future date and time. If you have any questions about weather, please email [email protected]

Can I get a map to the mini session?

We will email you the address of the location to be used at mapquest.com We include this information in a private email to disclose the location to participants only. The generalized location will be in the Darien NY area.

When will I receive my pictures/CD?

About a week to two weeks after mini sessions conclude, you will be emailed an online gallery with your images, you may choose your 5 images to be downloaded. Additional images will be available for purchase at 5 dollars a piece.

What to wear:

The theme will be a vintage styled, back to school session. Remember to keep the outfits cheery, bright and fun!  Use patterns, textures and layers to add visual interest.  Select clothing that is poppy and vibrant! Think about layering leggings with cute skirts, vintage dresses, petti rompers, and for boys, brightly colored shirts and jeans with a vintage flair would be perfect!  When it comes to jeans, opt for the darkest indigo wash. These tend to be the most flattering and least dated. Most importantly, we want everyone to be casual and comfortable in their attire. Be sure to include accessories, hats, scarves, etc are a great way to change up an outfit in minimal time!

What to bring?

We will provide props and themed background materials such as desks, apples, old books, chalk board etc.—but if you have a cute idea—bring it along!

When to arrive?

On-time of course! Please don’t be late as this will put us behind schedule. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early.
